Responsive web sites are common place now and more standard than enhancement, so it's no surprise that our latest version of the FIM European Speedway Grand Prix web site is fully responsive. The challenge here was to delivery both a full screen desktop commercial site, serving the sport's business activities and a mobile platform to enhance the fan's race day experience.
Since launch we've seen an increase in traffic across the board, mobile and desktop users, during event and outside event times.

Speedway has a huge Polish following so the organisers were keen to deliver the whole site in Polish to satisfy them and maximise traffic. The obvious choice was Google Translate, but this was early dispelled due to the inaccuracy. So Polish translators were employed and a bespoke solution commissioned from Fluid.
We built a bespoke translator tool into the CMS which allowed the translators to convert snippets of the text accurately. Further more, when additional news stories and page information is created by the editorial team, the translation tool alerts the translators that new text requires translation.
Fantasy Speedway Interactive Fan Game. Development bespoke by Fluid, Fantasy Speedway is the most popular Fantasy Speedway game on the web.
